Terms & Conditions

By downloading, installing, accessing, or using the CashBook mobile application (the "App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions ("Terms") and our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated herein by reference.

If you do not agree to these Terms, you must not access or use the App. We will provide notice of material updates to these Terms as set forth in Section 12.

CashBook is a cash management and expense tracking mobile application that enables users to:

• Record cash-in (income) and cash-out (expense) transactions
• Organize finances across personal and shared "cashbooks"
• Collaborate with other users by inviting them to shared Group Books
• Attach receipt images and photo documentation to transaction entries
• Generate local financial summaries and exportable reports in PDF and Excel formats
• Synchronize records in real time across devices using cloud infrastructure

The App is provided for record-keeping and bookkeeping convenience only. CashBook does not execute financial transactions, hold deposits, transfer funds, or act as a financial institution or payment intermediary.

To use CashBook, you must:

• Be at least 13 years of age (or the minimum legal age of majority in your jurisdiction)
• Have the legal capacity to enter into a binding agreement
• Use a non-jailbroken, non-rooted device running a supported version of iOS or Android
• Have downloaded the App from an official app distribution platform (Apple App Store or Google Play Store)

By using CashBook, you represent and warrant that you meet all of the above eligibility requirements.

CashBook uses Firebase Phone Authentication. Your phone number serves as your unique account identifier. You agree to:

• Provide a valid phone number that you legally own and control
• Keep your one-time verification passcode (OTP) confidential and not disclose it to others
• Notify us immediately if you suspect unauthorized access to your account
• Accept responsibility for all activities that occur under your verified account

You may use CashBook solely for lawful personal or business cash record-keeping purposes. You agree that you will not:

1. Use the App to record, facilitate, or conceal illegal financial transactions, money laundering, fraud, or any activity that violates applicable law
2. Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of the App
3. Use automated scripts, bots, or scrapers to access or extract data from the App
4. Attempt to gain unauthorized access to other users' cashbooks, accounts, or cloud infrastructure
5. Upload malicious content, viruses, or disruptive code via photo attachments
6. Impersonate any other person or entity when registering or using the App
7. Resell, sublicense, or commercially exploit the App or its features without our written permission
8. Violate any applicable local, national, or international law or regulation

CashBook is a personal ledger tool. You are solely responsible for:

• The accuracy, completeness, and legality of all financial entries and figures you record
• Verifying balances and transaction records before making any financial decisions
• Maintaining your own backup records as required by applicable law or your own business practices
• Ensuring that any PDF exports or reports generated from CashBook are reviewed for accuracy before use in any official, legal, or tax context

CashBook does not provide accounting, auditing, tax, or financial advisory services. Nothing in the App or its outputs constitutes professional financial advice. Always consult a qualified professional for such matters.

When you create a Group Book or invite collaborators, the following rules apply:

• Owner Responsibility: The book owner (creator) is responsible for managing member access. Inviting a collaborator grants them the ability to view, add, or edit entries according to their assigned role.
• Shared Data: All members of a Group Book can view the entries within that book. You accept that any data you add to a shared book is visible to all current and future members with access to that book.
• Entry History: All edits and deletions are logged in an immutable audit trail visible to book members. You cannot permanently erase your contribution history from a shared book.
• Removal & Ledger Integrity: Owners may remove members at any time. Removed members lose access to the book's data, but historical entries and receipt attachments they contributed remain in the book to preserve ledger continuity and accounting integrity for other members.
• Dispute Resolution: CashBook is not responsible for disputes between collaborators regarding financial records. Any such disputes are solely between the parties involved.

Our IP: The CashBook name, logo, app design, software code, Cloud Functions, and all related materials are the exclusive intellectual property of Weapplinse Technology. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the App for personal or business bookkeeping purposes in accordance with these Terms.

Your Data: You retain full ownership of the financial data and content you create within CashBook. By using the App, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive license to store, process, and transmit your data solely for the purpose of operating and providing the service to you.

We do not warrant that:

• The App will be error-free, uninterrupted, or available at all times
• Data sync will be instantaneous or immune to network-related delays
• The App will meet your specific business, regulatory, or tax accounting requirements

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time, with or without notice, if we reasonably believe you have:

• Violated these Terms or our Privacy Policy
• Engaged in fraudulent, abusive, or illegal activity
• Attempted to compromise the security or integrity of the App or other users' data

You may terminate your account at any time directly within the App by navigating to Settings > Delete Account, or by contacting our support team at weappsupport@gmail.com to request account deletion.

Upon verification of an account deletion request:

• Your personal profile (phone number, display name), device notification tokens, and private cashbooks owned solely by you will be permanently removed within 30 days.
• In shared Group Books, entries and receipts you created remain visible to remaining collaborators with your personal identity disassociated, ensuring accounting integrity for other members per Section 07 and our Privacy Policy.
• If you own a shared Group Book, you must transfer ownership or delete the shared book before requesting account deletion.

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any dispute arising from or relating to these Terms or the App shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in Gujarat, India.

We encourage you to contact us first to resolve any dispute informally before initiating formal legal proceedings.

We may revise these Terms from time to time. When revisions are made, we will update the "Last Updated" date at the top of this page and provide notice within the App for material modifications.

If you do not agree with the updated Terms, you may stop using the App and request account deletion in accordance with Section 10.
